MORRISTOWN, Tenn. — For the No. 25-ranked Walters State men's basketball team, the 2019-20 season officially begins Friday when they take on Combine Academy to open the Senators Classic Basketball Tournament at 'Z' Buda Gymnasium.

Tip off for that game is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, the Senators will face off against Caldwell Community College at 7 p.m.

Chattanooga State and Caldwell will play Friday at 8 p.m. Saturday, Combine Academy and the Tigers will square off at 3 p.m.

Last season Chattanooga State finished 17-13, losing twice to Walters State along the way.

Caldwell Community College was an NJCAA Division I national tournament team in 2016 and won Region X in 2016. They finished ranked No. 2 in 2014 and No. 4 in 2013.
