Lady Senators split twinbill at Columbia State

COLUMBIA, Tenn. — Walters State split a pair of games at Columbia State Saturday night after the opening two games of the series on Friday were canceled due to rain.

Walters State left the bases loaded in the sixth inning and a runner on third in three different innings during the game. Delilah Malczewski took the loss on the mound.

In the nightcap, Quillen roped five hits, including two home runs and a double, with one of her long balls being a grand slam. She drove in seven runs in the victory.
