Coach Mitch Taylor came to Walters State in the fall of 1977 on a baseball scholarship. After college he became a part of his family’s business and currently is part owner of two pharmacies in Morristown.

Taylor returned to Walters State in 2011 as the Assistant Softball Coach. He is involved in the day to day operations of the team as well as in the recruiting.

During his 12 years, Taylor has helped play an integral part in leading the Lady Senators Softball Program to more than 450 wins and to the NJCAA D1 Softball World Series in 2013, 2016, 2018, and 2023.
