Scott picked up where Drake left off in the fourth inning, pitching the final three innings and striking out five to collect the save.

As for the offense, the Senators were on from the first batter of the game as McNeely continued his great start to the season, belting a ball over the fence to make it 1-0.

Just two batters later, Noah Gent made it 2-0 as he hit his first home run of the season over the fence in left.

The Senators and Indians would go scoreless for the next two innings before the Senators offense regained its momentum. Corbin Shaw got it going first in the fourth inning as he led off the inning with his first home run of the season.

In the fifth, Walters State broke the game open with six runs. McNeely scored the first run of the inning on an error by the third baseman. Then, after Shaw walked to load the bases, Andrew Ott came around to score on a passed ball.

Nick Block would then walk to load the bases back up before Backus hit his first home run of his collegiate career, a grand slam over the fence in left to make it 9-0.
