MARYVILLE, TN – Both Walters State cross country teams placed fourth in the Maryville Invitational on Friday afternoon.
On the men's side, Ryan Sadlon led the way for Walters State with a 14th place finish and a time of 29:18. Following behind Sadlon was Kenneth Manning with a 26th place finish and a time of 31:46. Other scoring individuals for Walters State were Lucas Greineder (32:10) in 28th place, Nicholas Noble (32:25) in 29th place and Alexander Leblanc (33:35) in 32nd place.
Other participants for Walters State in the men's race were Christopher Gaby (35:10), Gabriel Davis (35:41) and Brian Kiplagai (43:22).
On the women's side, Ashley Soto Perez led the way with a 14th place finish and a time of 27:25. Lily Dodson was the next finisher for the Lady Senators with a 26th place finish and a time of 28:56. Other scorers for Walters State were Amelia Weeks (29:33) in 29th place, Nadia Lopez (30:35) in 31st and Katlyn Noonan (34:56) in 41st.

Walters State will be back in action next Friday at the Walters State Invitational. The women run at 5 p.m. with the men running at 5:40.
