RICHMOND, VA – Walters State's men's and women's cross-country teams closed out their season on Tuesday morning in the NJCAA Half Marathon Championship. 

On the men's side, the Senators came in 20th place while on the women's side the Lady Senators finished in 10th place. 

The Senators were led by Kenneth Manning, who came in 90th place with a time of 1:26:09. Along with Manning, Nicholas Noble finished in 98th place with a time of 1:29:59. 

Other finishers for the Senators include Lucas Greineder (1:30:46) in 101st place, Gabriel Davis (1:35:15) in 106th and Alexander LeBlanc (1:42:09) in 110th place. 

On the women's side, Ashley Soto Perez led the way with a 42nd place finish and time of 1:46:20. Along with Perez, Lily Dodson finished in 45th place with a time of 1:48:38.

Other finishers for the Lady Senators include Amelia Weeks (1:49:47) in 48th place, Nadia Lopez (1:54:58) in 52nd place, Emily Wright (2:04:04) in 56nd place and Katlyn Noonan (2:15:12) in 57th place.
