LEBANON, TN – Walters State made quick work of Cumberland University JV on Wednesday afternoon, taking a 3-0 sweep (25-12, 25-14, 25-13). 

 

With the win, the Lady Senators moved to 8-4 on the season. They have now won four of their last five matches. 

 

In Wednesday's win, Jaci Drinnon and Lauren Mims had 10 digs each while Mims also had seven kills. Catherine Sweeney had six kills and three blocks. As a team, the Lady Senators had eight aces.

 

Up Next:

 

Walters State will open up conference play next Tuesday when they host Pellissippi State. That match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
