Jaci Drinnon named NJCAA DII Volleyball Second Team All-American

MORRISTOWN, TN – Jaci Drinnon returned to her hometown for the 2023 volleyball season and had a season she won't forget anytime soon. 

 

On Tuesday, Drinnon was named an NJCAA DII Volleyball Second Team All-American for that memorable season.

 

Drinnon is the third Volleyball All-American in school history, joining Jordan Moore (Honorable Mention) in 2022 and Olivia Oxendine (Second Team) in 2020-21. 

 

Drinnon finished the season with 735 digs, good for seventh in the country and first in the conference by over 320 digs. Drinnon also ranked seventh in the country and first in the conference in digs per set with 5.98. 

 

Drinnon was 15th in the country and first in the conference with 786 receptions and was fifth in the conference with 44 service aces. She was also ninth in the conference with 167 assists. 

 

Drinnon helped lead the Lady Senators to a 27-9 record, a Region 7 Championship, a Southeast B District Championship and a Top-15 finish at the NJCAA DII Tournament. During the national tournament, Drinnon had 126 digs in four matches. 

 

During the regular season, Drinnon totaled over 20 digs in 15 matches. 

 

Drinnon was named an All-TCCAA First Team member and was the MVP of the Region 7 Tournament.
