CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Walters State's Miles Thomas picked up two pieces of hardware Sunday evening from the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association when the league announced its 2018-19 All-TCCAA Teams at the TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Tournament inside L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium at Cleveland State Community College following the Senators quarterfinal round and season-ending loss to Roane State.

Thomas, a sophomore from Knoxville, was named the league's Most Valuable Player as well as its Offensive Player of the Year in a vote of the TCCAA's 10 coaches. Southwest Tennessee's Cedric Henderson, Jr. was named the league's Freshman of the Year, while Motlow State's Josh Endicott was tabbed as the region's Defensive Player of the Year. Dyersburg State's Charles Taylor was the Coach of the Year.

Thomas helped guide the Senators to a 23-7 regular season record and a 14-4 mark in TCCAA play, giving them the regular season league championship and the tournament's No. 1 seed.

Thomas was named to the All-TCCAA First Team, as was freshman Kajuan Hale. Demontay Dixon and Khiry Shelton were both tabbed to the All-TCCAA Second Team.
