GREENVILLE, SC – The Walters State men's cross-country team came in fourth as a team on Saturday morning at the Bob Jones Invite. The women's team had four individuals compete.
The men were led in the race by Brando Resendiz in 12th place with a time of 29:42. Following Resendiz was Alexander LeBlanc in 26th place with a time of 31:32. Sam Hall finished in 28th place with a time of 31:53.
Rounding out the runners for the men were Carl Andes with a 36th place finish in a time of 35:43, Lucas Greineder in 39th place with a time of 36:19 and Jessie Ramos in 41st place with a time of 37:59.
The men's race was won by Bob Jones with a score of 28. Benedict's Donald Kibet won the individual title with a time of 25:30.
On the women's side, it was Julianne Dodson who was the first to cross the line for the Lady Senators. Dodson finished in 12th place with a time of 21:12.
Behind Dodson for Walters State was Amelia Weeks in 20th place with a time of 22:49. The other two runners for the Lady Senators were Emma Hamilton in 24th place with a time of 23:11 and Molly Wright in 27th place with a time of 24:28.
North Georgia won the women's race with a score of 16. North Georgia's Claire Mills won the individual title with a time of 19:26.

Walters State will close out their season at the NJCAA DII National Championship on Nov. 12 in Tallahassee, FL. The NJCAA Half Marathon is three days later on Nov. 15.
