
MORRISTOWN, TN – Walters State had all 12 players score on Thursday evening against Experience Academy, taking a 102-53 win.
With the victory, Walters State improved to 5-5 overall and have won three in a row.
The Senators had five in double figures, with Aiden Goins leading the way with 16 points. Carter Metz had 13 points, Malaki Brooks had 12 points, Charvez Ambrose had 11 points and Da'Mori Lytch had 10 points.
Other scorers for Walters State were Anthony Davis Jr. with nine points, Quin'Darius Rumph with seven points, Alex Garcia with six points, Stevlen Morris with six points, Elijah Clinton with five points, Nathan Beasley with four points and Adam Kadoura with three points.
Walters State grabbed a 49-21 lead after the opening 20 minutes, hitting five 3-pointers and going 10-14 from the charity stripe. Metz hit three 3-pointers and a free throw in the half, while Lytch, Davis Jr. and Goins had seven each. Rumph and Garcia also had two, while Ambrose and Brooks hit three's. Brooks also hit two free throws.
In the second half, the Senators were money from the 3-point line with eight more treys. All 12 players scored in the final 20 minutes, as Goins had nine more while Ambrose had eight and Brooks seven. Clinton also had five points in the half, with Morris and Garcia scoring four each.
