
MORRISTOWN, TN – Charvez Ambrose had a career-high in points last week and was recognized for it.
On Tuesday, Ambrose was named the Co-TCCAA Player of the Week along with Cleveland State's Jeremiah Hayes.
Ambrose earned the honor after scoring 43 points in two games, going 14-23 from the field and knocking down nine 3-pointers.
In Wednesday's win over Columbia State, Ambrose scored 15 points, including 12 in the second half, to help guide the Senators over the first-place Chargers.
On Saturday, Ambrose returned home and had his best game of his Walters State career. Ambrose was 10-13 from the field, 6-8 from 3-point range, and finished with 28 points. Ambrose hit five 3-pointers in the second half, as Walters State took an 80-59 win.
Ambrose is averaging 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
Ambrose and the Senators are back in action on Wednesday, hosting Roane State at 7:30 pm.
