In game one, the Senators scored three runs in the first inning and were off from there on their way to the win.

Jack Vogele and Nate Conner led the way at the plate, each collecting three hits and driving in a run. Along with those two, Walker Morgan hit a home run and drove home three runs and Jack Torbett tripled. Taylor Harris and Tyler Myatt each drove in two runs, as well.

On the mound, Aiden Robertson (5-1) got the start and threw a complete game. Robertson allowed one run on two hits while striking out six.

Walters State got on the board early in the game, as Myatt doubled home two runs in the top of the first and Kenny Cox followed up with a single that scored Myatt to make it 3-0. Following a run in the second on a Conner RBI single, the Senators scored two more in the third as Torbett tripled home Morgan and an error scored Torbett to make it 6-0.

In the fourth, the Senators scored their final five runs of the game. Vogele got things started with an RBI double and Morgan followed up with a three-run home run. The final run came as Harris doubled home Torbett to make it 11-0.

Chattanooga State got a run in the bottom of the fourth, but that was all.

GAME TWO: No. 10 Walters State 16, Chattanooga State 2 (5 Innings)

In game two, Kole Fenton hit his second grand slam of the week while Tyler Myatt hit his third and fourth home runs of the week.
