
GREENEVILLE, TN – Walters State closed out the Bob Dibble Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon with a fourth place finish.
The Senators shot a 294 in the final round, closing the tournament out with a team score of 18-over. Emmanuel College won the tournament at five-over.
Walters State was led by AJ Rinehart who finished in a tie for fifth place at one-over. Rinehart shot a 76 on Tuesday with a birdie on the ninth hole.
Along with Rinehart, Chad Homan (T-13) and Jeremy Ellis (20) each finished in the top-20. Homan finished at four-over for the tournament and shot a one-over, 72 on Tuesday. He had birdies on the fourth, sixth and 15th holes. Meanwhile, Ellis finished the tournament at six-over and shot a 73 on Tuesday. He had a birdie on the eighth hole.
Rounding out the scoring were Sawyer Spoone (T-21) and JT McKenzie (T-41). Spoone finished the tournament at seven-over, shooting a 73 on Tuesday. He had birdies on the fifth, eighth, 11th, 12th and 15th holes.
McKenzie finished the tournament at 15-over and shot a 10-over on Tuesday.
Emmanuel College's Markel Olasagasti won the tournament at four-under.
