HARRIMAN, TN – Walters State came up short on Tuesday evening against Roane State, falling 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-21, 25-23).

 

With the loss, Walters State fell to 10-5 overall and 1-1 in TCCAA play.

 

In the match, Lauren Mims led the way for Walters State with 13 digs, seven kills and three blocks while Maddie Rockrohr had 15 kills and 10 digs. Other contributors included Jaci Drinnon with 22 digs, Alyssa Campbell with eight kills, six blocks and two aces and Olivia Brown with 25 assists and two aces.

Walters State will be back in action over the weekend as the Lady Senators compete in the Wallace State Fall Bash. The Lady Senators will play Lurleen B. Wallace on Friday at 3 p.m. and Coastal Alabama-South at 5 p.m. On Saturday, Walters State will play Snead State at 10 a.m. and Gadsden State at 2 p.m.
