
HANCEVILLE, AL — Walters State finished strong on Saturday at the Wallace State Fall Bash, taking a 3-2 win over Snead State and a 3-0 win over Gadsden.
With the wins, Walters State improved to 13-6 overall. The Lady Senators went 3-1 on the weekend.
In the win over Snead, Jaci Drinnon had 35 digs while Maddie Rockrohr had 12 kills and 22 digs. Other contributors included Alyssa Campbell with 17 kills and three blocks, Lauren Mims with 12 kills and 18 digs, Olivia Brown with 24 assists and three aces and Allison Singleton with 20 assists.
Against Gadsden, Mims had 12 kills while Drinnon had 20 digs. Along with those two, Campbell had eight kills and three blocks, Rockrohr with seven kills and eight digs. The Lady Senators had 13 aces as a team.

Walters State will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Chattanooga State. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
